Our Mission
 
Our Mission is to reduce domestic  violence and to promote peace and accountability in Washington County through community alliance.
 
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  This race is our opportunity to raise awareness and community support for victims and survivors of family violence.
 
 
The Washington County Coordinated Community Response Team is made up of members of the Washington County District Attorney's Office, members of law enforcement, Wisconsin Department of Corrections - Community Corrections, Friends of Abused Family Staff, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners and local hospital staff, Domestic Violence Advocates,  Washington County attorneys and other concerned Washington County citizens. 
 
 

 Make a Difference

Thank you for your dedication in bringing awareness to domestic violence.  By participating in the Race to Safety 5K, you are helping to draw attention to domestic violence.  This is a costly and pervasive problem, causing victims as well as witnesses and bystanders, in every community to suffer incalcuable pain and loss.
